Trail Contessa Signature women's pants

First impression
These long trousers made from robust Cordura material are surprisingly light and feel comfortable against the skin. Laser-cut holes ensure good ventilation. Two zippered side pockets can be used to store money, maps or keys. The waist size is adjusted with a hook fastener on fabric eyelets, so the trousers lie flat without pressure points. They generally fit well and are very comfortable to wear

In use
Regardless of whether you're pedaling or standing still on the trails, the Contessa trousers fit perfectly. Even when wearing knee protectors and pedaling hard, there is no uncomfortable pull on the knees. The elastic waistband at the bottom fits well and the wind does not pull into the trouser leg and it does not flutter even when riding fast.

Contessa Signature Trail Shorts

First impression
The short trail shorts are made from the same material as the long trail shorts and have the same details. The cut is also identical and extends over the knee on the short trousers. This practical length prevents the schooner gaps that the style police don't like! The shorts come with removable inner shorts, which is why they are more expensive than the long version. These were not part of the test collection.

In use
On the bike, the shorts are just as impressive as the signature women's shorts. The cut does not constrict even on technical terrain and nothing flutters when riding fast. They can be combined with both thin and very thick knee protectors without anything getting in the way.

Conclusion
With the Contessa Signature Trail Shorts, Scott has created a very classic pair of bike shorts that showed no weaknesses whatsoever during the six-month test period. The more than a dozen washes have left no traces or wear and tear.

The socks have a good fit and are not cut as wide as many unisex socks. They are knitted to provide compression to support blood circulation. The material has an antibacterial effect. In terms of color, they match the collection perfectly and pick up on the pattern that is also used on the helmet and matching gloves.
