The Swiss Enduro Mountain Bike Championships will be held for the fourth time on August 23 and 24, 2024. Like two years ago, the host will be the Grisons municipality of Laax.

The cross-country racing team "JB Brunex Superior Factory Racing" is becoming even more international. The Swiss racing team has signed Belgian elite rider Arne Janssens and the two French U23 riders Laurine Douraffourg and Martin Groslambert for the 2024 season. The team also includes the Swiss riders Anina Hutter and Ramona Forchini, Nadine Perks from Germany, the Austrians Katrin Embacher and Gregor Raggl, Simona Spěšná from the Czech Republic and the Hungarian Virag Buszaki.

At 44, Karl "Charly" Markt was one of the oldest athletes on the mountain bike circuit. Now the Austrian is leaving the racing stage after around 20 years. His greatest successes include 20th place at the Olympic Games in 2012 and 17th place at the World Championships in front of a home crowd in the same year. Markt explained his retirement by saying that the successes he had hoped for had failed to materialize in recent years and that he no longer had the same level of focus.

After a three-year break, the Epic Enduro is returning to the French mountains of Caroux. On March 31, 2024, the 10th edition of the Dirtlej Epic Enduro will take place in Olargues, an enduro race with 110 kilometers and 5000 vertical meters, which can be contested individually or in a team of three.

On February 10 and 11, 2024, the first official UCI Snowbike World Championships will take place in Châtel, France. The races are inspired by alpine skiing, with the UCI awarding world champion jerseys and medals in super-G and parallel slalom.
