The Art of Mountainbike - the artistic mountain bike photos of JB Liautard

After one video project followed another for Thomas Genon, the slope style ace was determined to realize something in the direction of photography. Together with photographer JB Liautard, the category winner of the Red Bull Illume Photo Contest 2019, Genon launched a unique photo project with artistic aspirations. Based not far from each other in the south of France, the two produced impressive and artistically appealing images - real "artsy" eye-catchers.

For once, this project didn't call for the most blatant tricks from Thomas Genon's repertoire. Rather, it was the simple but stylish jumps that JB Liautard artfully photographed for him, or simply the slopestyler's poses. Liautard worked with various reflections and artificial fog, but also with programmable LED light tracks, which he moved in the background during the long exposure of the camera.

The video "The Art of Mountainbike" shows the making of the gallery, two of these unique images can also be admired in the 2021 Ride issues 02 and 04.
