The barrhorn is back in the flicker box

In October, high alpine tours in the Alps are usually no longer possible. This is the time to reminisce about the beautiful summer with films. For example, the Barrhorn. SRF has now put the film back online after the controversy surrounding the sequences on the Üetliberg.

This summer, Swiss television broadcast several beautiful mountain bike films under the title "Keep on Riding". Four different styles, four locations, four mountain bike tours. However, in the second episode featuring the Barrhorn in Valais and the Üetliberg in Zurich, SRF sparked a heated debate about riding single trails in the city of Zurich and had to remove the film from its online portal. This meant that the unproblematic and, above all, impressive images of the Barrhorn were also in the garbage can. Now the episode is back, but without the scenes on the Üetliberg.

Schurter and Co. bring mountain bike tours to primetime TV

With "Keep on Riding", SRF2 shows the most exciting mountain bike trails in Switzerland from the cockpit perspective of well-known mountain bikers - a first for Swiss television, and in prime time to boot. But after the show aired, the dirty face of us bikers was revealed: the mutual destruction that culminated in an absurd demand for money from "Züritrails".
