Last year, Shimano introduced the E-Tube app for iOS devices such as Apple smartphones and tablets. This made it possible to configure the shifting processes of the XTR and XT Di2 drivetrains via Bluetooth according to your own wishes. The E-Tube app is now also available to download for users of other smartphone brands, i.e. with Android-based devices. This is compatible with all Di2 products as well as the "Steps" e-bike drive, including the latest version of the "Dura Ace" road bike groupset.

Thanks to the app, the functions of the shift levers can be swapped on the trail, for example, or coupled with Di2-compatible suspension elements. In addition to numerous other options, the shifting speed, Multishift options or Synchroshift can also be adjusted via the E-Tube app.
