After a spectacular 2024 World Championship showdown in KwaMashu, South Africa, in which Ryan Gilchrist (AUS) and Sabina Košárková (CZE) secured the coveted rainbow jerseys, the hunt for the title is entering the next round. A total of 20 qualifier events this season will lead to the grand finale: the UCI Pump Track World Championships on September 5, 2025 in Monthey, Switzerland.

For the first time, Armenia and Nepal will host a qualifier - on the "Pump for Peace" tracks, which are dedicated to promoting cycling for all. The USA is increasing the number of events to three. Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden and Portugal are also returning to the race calendar, making the series even more international.
