The "Rock the Hill" festival at Geisskopf takes place in mid-June

From punk to rock, from trail rides to screwdriver courses: The 12th Rock The Hill offers a full program for music fans, mountain bikers and party people. During the day, you can go banging on the 13 routes of the MTB Zone Bikepark Geisskopf or attend one of the riding technique and tinkering courses on offer. The MTB Expo offers the opportunity to hire or test mountain and e-bikes and equipment from various exhibitors.

Friday and Saturday evening concerts with bands from various genres take place on the main stage. From midday on Saturday, the summit stage on the Geisskopf (near the Geisskopfhütte) offers the ultimate acoustic experience in addition to the Bavarian Forest panorama. The complete line-up (divided between the two stages) offers everything a musician's heart desires, from punk to rock and hip-hop. This year's line-up includes Querbeat, Swiss & Ferris, Raum27 (and many more). Thanks to the extensive parking & camping facilities, the Geisskopf offers optimal festival accommodation over the entire weekend (details at www.geisskopf.de). The Arberland region also offers guesthouses, hotels and other accommodation options.

More than 3000 visitors per day have attended in recent years and the event between Habischried and Bischofsmais is now known far beyond the borders of the Bavarian Forest. The location on the Geisskopf offers enough space for stages, drinks and food stands as well as parking and camping areas.
