Nearly 400 enthusiastic participants took part in the premiere of Red Bull Radical on October 2nd, probably the most spectacular cross-country race in Germany. Many challenging obstacles on a new type of course had to be mastered against the impressive backdrop of the quarry, and Joris Ryf from Switzerland and Ellen Blome from Bochum were the fastest to do so.

After starting 2021 with two races, the organizers of the Swiss Enduro Series have announced an exciting calendar with five races. Laax kicks things off in mid-June. The races in the Aletsch Arena and Leukerbad will follow on the last weekends in July, while the final points will be collected on the last weekends in August in Lenzerheide and at the finale in Airolo.

There is a minor scandal at the finale of the Enduro World Series in Scotland. Title contender Richie Rude was disqualified after the first stage due to a gate error. As the gates in question were unusually located inside the taped-off track, the harsh penalty was heavily criticized. The title went to Australian Jack Moir, and Melanie Pugin took the women's title. Switzerland's Anita and Carolin Gehrig finished the final in 14th and 17th place respectively.

The traditional final race of the iXS Downhill Cup season in Bellwald kills two birds with one stone: Dutch rider Tristan Botteram wins ahead of Swiss rider Basil Weber and Simon Maurer, who also wins the German championship title. The German Downhill Championships were postponed several times, leaving Bellwald as the last possible venue for the elite.
