The YT MOB is back!

Until now, the YT MOB was the racing team of YT Industries. A team that caused quite a stir. The MOB helped YT Industries to gain a foothold in the downhill sport from the very first moment. With its personality and undeniable talent on the track, the MOB established itself as a strong team in the paddock. But all great things come to an end. So in 2021, the MOB has bid farewell to the racing circuit to redefine the future of the MOB.

This time, the YT MOB is more than just a racing team. 2023 will be a new chapter and the MOB is here to make waves. The athletes and ambassadors will fly the flag for the MOB in all disciplines. From freeride to slopestyle and enduro to downhill, with this approach YT Industries will drive the development of all areas, always living "Good Times".

In this new chapter, the MOB will gain a new discipline: Enduro. There are no half measures for the German brand and this also applies to the new Enduro Team. For 2023 and beyond, there will be three heavyweights at the start: Jack Moir, Christian Textor and Kasper Woolley. These guys know how to win races and will represent the MOB in their discipline.

"I celebrate what YT has built. They are not like other brands and remind me what mountain biking is all about, good times! They have developed an enduro program that gives the team all the support we need from every conceivable angle. We even have the freedom to choose our own components, so we can use whatever parts we think will maximize our potential," says Australian Jack Moir.

"I'm incredibly excited to redefine the MOB and take it to the next level. Since we founded the MOB in 2016, it has always been our goal to not only run our downhill program under this banner, but all riders from all disciplines. The whole YT family! This is how a real "MOB" should be. Returning to racing at the highest level means a lot to me and I can't wait for the season to start. It's our chance to prove once again that our bikes are not only made for the big freeride stuff, but are also capable of winning the most important races. But what impresses me the most is that we've managed to integrate our Uncaged philosophy into the YT MOB by giving our riders the ability to choose their components the way they personally like to ride. This allows riders to spec their bike based on their performance and not be forced to ride something just for sponsorship. Nothing that prevents them from performing at their best. I'm very proud that we are the only brand that can offer this advantage to its riders," explains Markus Flossman, founder and CVO of YT Industries.

The Mob: different riders, different disciplines

In 2023, not only the enduro riders will be added, but also Dakoda Osusky and Emma Olfosson, who will represent the MOB in the freeride sector.
