At the opening round of the Mountain Bike Bundesliga and the UCI Continental Series in Obergessertshausen (DE), the men’s race saw a triple Swiss victory. The 2025 U23 World Champion, Finn Treudler, wins his first race as an elite rider. Second and third places go to Lars Forster and Vital Albin. In the women’s race, Sina Frei (SUI) wins ahead of her Austrian teammate Laura Stigger and her compatriot Jolanda Neff.

Max Foidl and Mona Mitterwallner (both from Austria) won the UCI C1 race in Kamptal, Austria. Mitterwallner secured a clear victory over Italy’s Giada Specia and Poland’s Natalia Grzegorzewska. In the men’s race, the entire podium was dominated by Austrian riders—Foidl won by a narrow margin ahead of Mario Bair, with Julius Scherrer taking third place.

At "The Hills" Gravel Race in Susegana, north of Venice, Nino Schurter delivered an impressive performance in his gravel debut, finishing fifth in a field of top international riders. The winner of the 124-kilometer main race was American Bradyn Lange. Schurter wasn't the only mountain biker among the participants. Former cross-country specialist Hugo Drechou (7th/FRA), Fabian Rabensteiner (10th/ITA), and Bixs rider Joel Roth (12th/SUI) are just a few of the prominent names familiar from the mountain biking circuit.
