Tubolight launches the next generation of tire inserts.

According to Tubolight, no insert offers more protection, comfort and rolling efficiency at an incredibly low weight. The new Tubolight EVO was developed according to the wishes and preferences of renowned cross-country, enduro and downhill racers. The core of the evolution is a completely new shape and a further developed PE foam. The Evo inserts have already been used successfully in competitions by the Flückiger brothers and the Commençal Downhill Team.

Tubolight bringt neue Evo-Reifen-Inserts

The new butterfly shape provides even more protection, comfort and rolling efficiency: the air channel between the rim and insert acts like a valve. During an impact, some of the air is pressed into the channel towards the rim. The return flow of this air is minimally delayed by the tight fit of the insert, resulting in reduced tire rebound and rolling resistance. The U-shape on the upper side leaves more room for the trapped air and allows Tubolight to use a firmer foam with the same weight, thus providing even greater protection against snakebites. The snug and tight fit of the insert prevents burping and lateral rolling of the tire very efficiently. In addition, the Tubolight EVO does not 'roll' in the tire when braking or riding.

For fitting, Tubolight recommends filling the sealant directly into the tire rather than through the valve. Tubolight EVO is not only very light, but also completely liquid-tight and resistant to ammonia-containing sealing milk. The Tubolight EVO is supplied individually, so the user can decide whether they want to ride with more protection on the rear wheel and the lighter insert at the front, for example.
