Tune brings the fastest thru-axle system

The Schwazwälder lightweight construction gurus are launching the QC quick-release thru-axle, which is probably the fastest thru-axle on the market. This is not bolted on and is reserved exclusively for Haibike in the first year.

In collaboration with the manufacturer Haibike, Tune has given some thought to the topic of thru axles. The aim was to develop an easy-to-install quick-release thru-axle for road and mountain bikes. The result is the QC thru-axle quick release.
The new thru-axle is designed to simplify and therefore speed up wheel changes on wheels with disc brakes and thru-axles. The QC thru-axle is not bolted, but instead has a pawl mechanism that secures the thru-axle axially after it has been pushed into the fork. Only the eccentric lever needs to be moved and the wheel is securely clamped. For disassembly, the eccentric lever must be opened and a push button pressed on the opposite side. This push button unlocks the pawl mechanism and the thru axle can be pulled out.
