The Pura-M wheels are significantly cheaper than the carbon versions and are positioned as a balanced option for a wide range of users - from beginners to ambitious leisure bikers. Ursus also offers smaller aluminum mountain bike wheels such as the Alcor set, which uses 29-inch rims and is compatible with a stable aluminum construction, disc brake mount, high-quality bearings and Boost thru-axles. Such wheels weigh around 720 to 800 grams individually and are available as a pair for less than a thousand euros, making them an attractive option for trail, cross-country or all-mountain use.
