Uvex launches the "Renegade Mips", a new top helmet

Progressive, stylish and packed with smart details, Uvex presents two new mountain bike helmets: the "React" and "React Junior" as well as the new "Renegade Mips" enduro helmet. The latter is the helmet specialist's new top-of-the-range trail model, while the Renegades are the all-rounders for young and adult trail surfers.

Enduro is more popular than ever: after riding uphill on gravel roads, forest paths and trails, more and more mountain bikers are plunging back down the mountains over roots, blocked terrain, banked turns and spectacular drops. The bikes: are getting faster and faster. The trails: are becoming more and more challenging. This makes the right protective equipment all the more important. Knee pads, elbow pads and, of course, a helmet are indispensable companions on all tours. That's why Uvex is introducing the Uvex Renegade Mips, a new head protection for all enduro fans - super-safe and with an ultra-modern design.

Fabricated in Germany

Clever details and innovative technologies: The Renegade Mips is Uvex's new flagship in the enduro sector. Mips technology is fitted as standard, which reduces rotational forces in the event of a fall on the trail and therefore provides even better protection. The helmet shell, a multi in-mold construction, is particularly light and slim - this ensures a low weight and a first-class look. Other features include an adjustable shield, a goggle garage and a Coolmax inner lining made from recycled materials. Thanks to Anatomic 3D IAS size adjustment, the Renegade Mips fits perfectly in both width and height and is individually adjustable. The new high-end enduro helmet is manufactured in Germany.

Smart on the trails

The new Uvex Renegade Mips Tocsen goes one better and comes with a smart add-on: the Tocsen crash sensor. If the rider no longer reacts after an accident, the system automatically triggers an emergency call including GPS data location to personal emergency contacts. In addition, the Tocsen community is informed about the crash so that potential first responders are on site more quickly. A useful safety feature, especially for mountain bikers who are also out on the trails alone.

The Uvex Renegade Mips is available in sizes 54 to 58 and 57 to 60 centimetres for 199.95 euros, with the Tocsen add-on for 259.95 euros.

Head protection for big and small

Safety, ventilation and fit: anyone who rides a mountain bike has various requirements for their helmet. But for many mountain bikers, a modern design has also become indispensable. With the new Uvex React models, the whole family can now hit the trails together - well protected and with a modern style.

Modern, stylish and safe: the new React accompanies mountain bikers on their home trails as well as on alpine crosses. A reduced shield provides a modern look, while the temple and rear areas are deep-drawn to ensure extra protection. At the same time, large ventilation openings ensure a cool head. The interior is made from 100 percent recycled polyester. The IAS with two-stage height adjustment guarantees an excellent fit on the trail. The helmet is available in three helmet sizes and various colors to ensure that there is a suitable model for everyone. The uvex react is also optionally available in a version with Mips technology, which offers additional impact protection.

To ensure that the next generation of shredders are also safe and stylish on the trails, Uvex offers the React Jr. model for children and teenagers, which only comes in the small helmet shell - adjustable from 52 - 56 centimetres. Here, too, the focus is on safety: the helmet can be fitted with or without mips on request, while a low-cut rear and pronounced temple area provide the necessary protection. At the same time, large openings in the helmet design ensure sufficient ventilation - they are equipped with an insect net to keep out unwanted intruders.
