With the Fluid FS, Norco combines good value with cool

A trail bike with a high-quality aluminum frame, great equipment and super riding performance at an affordable price? Norco have packed all of this into the new Fluid FS, offering a trail bike that is designed for both advanced riders and beginners. The Fluid FS comes with 130 and 140 millimetres of suspension travel, Norco's Ride-Aligned geometry and costs less than 4000 euros in the top configuration.

Norco's Fluid FS is a full-suspension aluminum mountain bike with top performance for advanced riders that is also perfect for beginners. The price range of the four models is where many people start their mountain biking career. With the Fluid FS, however, the aim was to offer a level of performance that was previously unheard of in this category. "We implemented our exclusive "Ride Aligned Designed System" to easily and precisely tune the new Fluid to the rider's height, weight, experience and morphology - a technology previously only available on our top-end bikes," says Norco Product Manager Paul Burnett. "But when you realize that not every rider has the budget for a top-end carbon bike, then developing bikes becomes a big challenge - and fun!"

The Fluid FS in detail

Ride Aligned™ Design System adapts every Fluid FS to the person riding it. Rider-specific geometry and suspension kinematics combined with a custom fit and suspension tuning are designed to deliver personalized performance from day one.

The precision-crafted 130-millimeter rear triangle features individually tuned shocks, developed in collaboration with shock manufacturers such as Fox or X-Fusion, offers each rider a tailored suspension setup and performance. Depending on the model, the Fluid FS comes with 140-millimeter suspension forks from Fox, Marzocchi and RockShox.

The Fluid FS comes with long-travel and size-dependent Vario seatposts (S - 150mm, M - 170mm, L, XL, XXL - 200mm). The low-slung top tube creates plenty of freedom of movement so that you can test your limits on demanding terrain.

The new Fluid FS series is available in an extended range of sizes: There are five sizes from S to XXL to fit riders from 1.55 to 2 meters.

All Fluid FS models come with hydraulic four-piston brakes, 800 mm riser bar, 29-inch wheels with tubeless-compatible rims from Stan's, sealed wheel bearings and 2.4-inch tubeless-ready tires from Vittoria or Good Year.
