The Mountain Bike World Series is introducing its own team trophy for the first time. “The Summit” will be awarded at the end of the season to the top teams in cross-country, downhill, and enduro. This shift puts greater focus not only on individual riders but also on the work of entire teams.

Orbea presents the new Oiz as a competition bike designed specifically for cross-country and marathon racing. The new frame is said to offer greater stiffness, more precise power transfer, and more controlled handling. With 120 millimeters of travel, optimized geometry, and a frame weight of 1,700 grams, the Oiz is clearly aimed at ambitious racers.

With Flamme Rouge, Winforce introduces a liquid energy gel designed for the final stretch of a race. Each serving provides 25 grams of carbohydrates, 200 milligrams of caffeine, as well as L-citrulline and L-arginine. The gel is designed to support focus, energy supply, and endurance during the final hour of the race.

With Shorley Reload, Swiss beverage manufacturer Möhl is expanding its product range to include a functional soft drink for athletes and other active individuals. The new variant combines Swiss apple juice, pink grapefruit, and mineral water with magnesium and zinc, and features an isotonic formula with no added sweeteners.

Claudia Peretti and David Valero Serrano win the Hero Südtirol Dolomites 2026. Peretti prevails over 60 kilometers and 3,200 meters of elevation gain, while Valero takes the men’s race over 86 kilometers and 4,500 meters of elevation gain.
