Shortly after the release of the Core 1 and 2 with the aluminum frame, the performance upgrade of the high-modulus carbon frame follows shortly afterwards. As with the aluminum frame, the Capra Core 3 also has rivets under the top tube and a flip chip for geometry adjustment. The TM6000 water bottle is also included in the scope of delivery to quench your thirst between hot laps.

The MX version is aimed at inspiring bike park fans with shorter chainstays and more progressive kinematics. The 29-inch model has longer chainstays for better climbing performance and a more linear curve for maximum traction. Both the MX and 29-inch versions are designed for a 180-millimetre suspension fork, which allows you to ride particularly fast in the park or tickle out extra seconds on the track.

Want top-class suspension with every conceivable tuning option? The 170-millimeter Zeb Ultimate fork is equipped with the latest technology: the new Charger 3 damper with HSC/LSC adjustment, the updated Debonair+ spring and the vibration-reducing butter cups. In combination with the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock including the external HSC and LSC adjustment and the V4L kinematics, the suspension of the new Capra Core 3 irons out all technical obstacles and ensures maximum control at high speeds. This level of on-the-fly tuning means that there is no need to visit a workshop to set up the bike. The new YT Suspension Guide helps with this and provides a recommended starting point for any fine-tuning if required.

The drivetrain has also been upgraded. With the wireless GX Eagle AXS drivetrain, clean and reliable shifting is guaranteed even in the dirtiest trail conditions and also ensures a tidy cockpit. Renthal has been a leader in component development for many years, which is why the Core 3 is equipped with the new AL2014 handlebar and stem combination and the classic ODI Lock-On grips.

The finishing touches are provided by an SDG Bel Air 3.0 saddle, a YT Postman dropper (with up to 200 millimetres of travel in size XXL), Sram Code R brakes and an E13 TRS Plus derailleur. The Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro wheels offer different rim profiles and spoke counts for individual setup on the front and rear wheels. Last but not least, the Core 3 is now equipped with a super-sticky Maxx Grip Assegai/Maxx Terra DHR II combination, which provides unsurpassed grip in all conditions.
