Züritrails Kids Day, April 11, 2015

The Züritrails Kids Day is a kind of taster day for children and young people who are interested in the trend sport of mountain biking. On April 11, 2015, the Züritrails coaches will give an introduction to the infrastructure of the Bikepark Allmend in Zurich from 10 am to 4 pm. And for those who have already mastered the pump track, the coaches will reveal tips and tricks on how to have fun on the jump track.

The association also provides information about the bike courses offered by the City of Zurich Sports Office and the Züritrails junior program. Experts provide information about Zurich's mountain bike infrastructure or impart specialist knowledge about bikes and equipment suitable for children.

Even the youngest children can get their first experience on a two-wheeler on the wheel course. The crowning glory is the "TSG Nipper Race" in the afternoon. A balance bike race on a circuit with great prizes to be won.

Children who do not bring their own equipment will be provided with a limited number of helmets, protectors and bikes in various sizes. These can be borrowed free of charge for one hour on presentation of an ID card.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Zurich Sports Office and is supported by the following companies Maxxis Tires(main sponsor), TSG, Migros Kulturprozent, Ergon, Park Tool, SRAM and Rivella.
