You set the stage where our brand comes to life.

Trade shows and events in Switzerland and internationally, right in the heart of the motorcycle and mountain bike scene: You ensure that the iXS brand makes a strong impression through live marketing.

ABOUT iXS
We commit to protect. You commit to ride.

Since 1979, we’ve been developing highly functional protective gear for motorcycles and mountain bikes in Sursee, and we’re represented worldwide. We’ve won the Design & Innovation Award multiple times and have close ties with athletes and key opinion leaders from the motorcycle and mountain bike communities around the globe. iXS is part of the hostettler group.

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

At trade shows and events, retailers, distributors, the media, and end consumers experience our brand up close. We create a strong presence together: our marketing managers develop the goals, message, and content. Sales, product management, graphic design, partners, and service providers contribute their expertise. You turn this into a presentation that works, and you’re in charge from initial planning through to the debriefing. In addition, you support the marketing team with logistics and administration—from samples for our sponsored athletes to the stand builder’s invoice.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • An evolving mix of events: We’re constantly evaluating which trade shows and events are worthwhile and testing new formats. Your experience and ideas will be directly incorporated
  • Two worlds, two target audiences: You’ll be active in both the motorcycle and mountain bike scenes, and you’ll tailor each event to resonate within its respective community
  • A job with seasonal dynamics: During busy periods, you’ll be on the road, including on weekends. You’ll use quieter times for planning and professional development
  • Collaboration as a Key to Success: You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with internal departments, team members, partners, and our distributors both domestically and internationally, because we believe that success is achieved together

Your Responsibilities:

  • You’ll plan, organize, and execute trade shows, retailer and brand events, as well as industry events in Switzerland and internationally—independently handling everything from registration to cleanup—and you’ll be on-site for the most important events
  • You will manage external partners, agencies, and service providers
  • You’ll implement product and brand presentations in collaboration with internal departments
  • You’ll support the sales team during sales meetings and in the showrooms
  • You measure the success of each event and continuously improve our presentations
  • You’ll organize the shipment of product samples to athletes and the media, as well as the logistics for photo shoots both domestically and abroad
  • You procure displays, POS materials, giveaways, and merchandise; manage inventory and stock; and keep budgets, quotes, and invoices under control

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • At least 3 years of experience with trade shows and events—ideally on an international level and in the bicycle, sports, or outdoor industries—as well as formal education or training in event management or marketing
  • You can keep track of multiple projects simultaneously and are well-versed in budgets, service providers, and international logistics, including customs procedures
  • You have an eye for spatial design and present yourself confidently when interacting with internal and external partners as well as within your team
  • You thrive on collaboration: You bring other departments, partners, and service providers on board early and work with them as a unified team
  • You’re hands-on, pitch in with setup and takedown, and stay calm when things get hectic
  • You communicate confidently in German and English and are proficient with Microsoft 365 and project management tools. French and Italian are a plus
  • You enjoy working both in the office and on the go, and during the season, even on weekends
  • You have a Category B driver’s license

We’d be especially thrilled if you ride a motorcycle or mountain bike yourself and know the scene from the inside.
