BMC presents its new Trailfox all-mountain bike. The most striking change is the wheel size. The TF series rolls off the production line on 29-inch wheels. BMC has completely redesigned its all-mountain flagship. The large rolling stock should harmonize perfectly with the 150 millimetres of suspension travel. BMC's APS suspension system is responsible for this. Integrated frame protectors and the internal chain guide reveal that the bike is also made for tough enduro use. A Vario seatpost is also installed, the cable routing of which, as well as the other cables, is completely routed inside the frame. In addition to the full carbon version, there will also be a version with an aluminum rear triangle and a complete aluminum version. The latter should also fit into smaller wallets.

The frame geometry also matches the advertised versatility of the TF01 twentyniner. The engineers have set the seat angle at 74 degrees for good stiffness. On the other hand, the head angle of 67 degrees is relatively slack for a bike with 29-inch wheels, which ensures a smooth ride on fast and rough descents. To ensure that the Trailfox can still be maneuvered quickly through tight bends, the chainstays are kept relatively short at 435 millimetres in length.

The frame weight of the carbon model of 2490 grams is not super light at first glance. However, this impression is quickly put into perspective when you consider that the stated weight includes the suspension strut, frame protectors, chain guide and chain catcher, the seat post clamp and the rear axle. BMC's enduro riders have long since proven that the bike works and is also stable with some top results at the Enduro World Series.
