Neuer Ride–Look: Was dahinter steckt

Ride: What is special about the new Ride look?
Brigitte Nocker: The design of the magazine has become simpler, more linear and the focus is now more on emotional imagery. With more white space, we want to counteract the flood of information and give the reader more freedom. The light typography underlines the reduced style.

Ride: What are you particularly proud of in the new Ride?
Brigitte Nocker: Redesigning the look was "good, hard" teamwork - because several heads are better than one. We discussed the redesign a lot. The biggest changes have been made to the news and women's pages. I am very pleased that our work has been well received by readers. I keep getting positive feedback. And we can be a little proud, as our magazine is unique in this segment.

Ride: What other projects do you have?
Brigitte Nocker: I'm developing the concept and design for the 2015 EVOC catalogs and I'm also involved in a project where we're designing an exclusive bike clothing item for EVOC. But more about that will be revealed at Eurobike.
New projects are in the pipeline for fi'zi:k and crankbrothers. I'm particularly pleased that I'm always being asked about the projects I've already realized - e.g. the ION Bike Collection 2013.
