René Wildhaber kehrt in den Fuchsbau zurück
René Wildhaber is a luminary with his numerous victories in the world's biggest downhill marathons. But he is much more than just a successful athlete. René Wildhaber is both an inspiration and a role model. The charismatic mountain biker proves this on the weekend of June 28 and 29, 2014 in Klosters, Graubünden. For two days, six young people - girls and boys aged 14 to 17 - will be able to take part in the "Wildi's Füchse" junior camp. After a successful premiere last year, on the occasion of the Dakine Trailfox, René Wildhaber sees it as a privilege to lead this camp into a second round: "No matter how much you have achieved in your career - the greatest happiness is when you can put a smile on a young rider's face with your passion. Over the course of a long career, you no longer really remember your beginnings. But when you see how enthusiastic the guys and girls are about the sport, you instantly feel like you've been transported back to the beginning of your career. It's a give and take. Of course, the kids learn a lot from me - but they also give me an incredible amount in return." With "Wildi's Füchse", René Wildhaber not only wants to secure and establish young talent, but also try to fill the gap in Swiss enduro sport: "Internationally, there are currently a lot of young and wild riders, especially from France and Belgium. But in my opinion, Switzerland has just as much potential. I hope I can inspire one or two athletes."
