After more than a decade away from the Cross-Country World Cup, Lapierre are now back with a six-man team. The newly founded Lapierre Mavic Unity includes Swiss rider Thomas Litscher, Briton Annie Last and Sebastian Fini from Denmark. Henrique Avancini celebrated his first international successes on the bikes of the Brazilian brand Caloi. The 2020 world number one rode for Cannondale for eight years, but also ran a Caloi junior team with the aim of promoting promising young athletes. Avancini is now returning to his sporting roots.
