Pivot introduces the new Mach 4 SL, a lightweight cross-country and marathon bike designed for modern race courses. The Highmod carbon frame, new geometry, finely tuned kinematics, and 110 to 120 millimeters of suspension travel are designed to combine efficiency, a smooth ride, and precise handling.

The Avinox M2S drive unit delivers immense power in the Pivot Shuttle AMP'd, despite the system weighing just 2.6 kg. Cross-country riders want the lowest possible weight. In the past, this requirement limited Pivot's designers in terms of suspension behavior, frame stiffness and ride feel. The new Mach 4SL puts an end to such compromises. Pivot's cross-country fully is designed to combine the best in riding performance and weight.

What does a Crankworx week look like from a pro's perspective? The team boss and athlete of the Pivot Factory Racing Team takes you to Whistler on Canada's west coast. The video features lots of riding action, whips, the famous Whistler atmosphere and Bernard's victory in the dual slalom. "It is pretty cool to come to Whistler after my two best World Cups of my career. It feels good to come here and ride the best jumps in the world on your downhill bike," Kerr says of his Whistler visit. "I hope the fun and excitement we had in Whistler comes across in the video. It was great to end the year like that."

Would you like a little more? That's more or less the motto of Pivot's Shuttle LT e-mountain bike. Because there is plenty of suspension travel on board, which easily takes on difficult terrain. But it is also generous in terms of battery size, space for water bottles and tires.

Pivot Cycles has taken Mach 4 SL to the next level. Key technologies on the cross-country file have been revised and given a fresh design. In addition to all the familiar details, the Mach 4 SL now features the universal Sram UDH derailleur hanger, which is not only compatible with Sram derailleurs, but also with all other manufacturers on the market.

After more than ten years with R-Cycles, Pivot Cycles is changing its Swiss distributor. The distribution company Indian Summer, known for brands such as Norco and Wahoo, announces the new partnership with Pivot Cycles for distribution in Switzerland.

The latest addition to the Pivot portfolio is a hardtail - and the so-called LES SL has it all. In the medium size, the frame tips the scales at 800 grams, which is a whopping 300 grams less than its predecessor. Sizes XS to XL, three equipment variants with Shimano or Sram, two frame colors, with optional Fox Live Valve suspension and a carbon wheel upgrade, there should be nothing left to be desired.

With the Shadowcat, Pivot is taking the trail bike category to a new level. The nimble trail cat (or is it a trail superhero?) is almost as light as a cross-country bike, very nimble thanks to the 27.5-inch wheels and still potent compared to its low weight with 140 millimetres of suspension travel. With Pivot's new development, the focus is therefore on lots of riding fun.

It was quite a shock when a boutique brand like Pivot presented an e-mountainbike at Eurobike 2018. We have long since become accustomed to such conditions - and now Pivot is adapting its e-bike to the current situation. Namely with a larger battery with more convenient installation and removal, a more up-to-date motor and a lot of attention to detail.

After a long wait, Pivot is now presenting the completely redesigned Firebird. Detailed work has gone into every nook and cranny, because the enduro bike offers more suspension travel, more reach across all sizes, a slacker head angle, a steeper seat angle, the chainstays are adapted to the respective frame sizes and it has also gained in stiffness.

Pivot is known as a manufacturer of high-quality full suspension bikes that are lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. But Pivot can also do things differently: at first glance, the Point is a simple hardtail that is made for pump tracks, dirt jumps or the concrete pool. A second look at the Point reveals that it also incorporates all the Pivot virtues.

120 millimetres of suspension travel have never felt so full and defined, says Pivot about the brand new Trail 429, and goes on to provide further interesting descriptions: The 29er bike is an all-mountain with race reflexes or even an exciting combination of enduro feeling and agile race bike handling. It was a bit of a shock when Pivot unveiled the Shuttle e-mountainbike at Eurobike 2017. Well, the shock has been digested - and the 2021 version of the Shuttle has evolved massively compared to the premiere version. For example, the new Shimano EP 8 motor and a 725 watt-hour battery are on board, and the Shuttle has also lost weight.

Pivot's brand-new Mach 6 takes its cue from the 29er Firebird in terms of handling qualities, but offers the uninhibited fun that only 27.5-inch wheels can generate. According to Pivot, the Mach 6 is the bike that is at home everywhere, from the bike park to the wildest after-work trail.

"Chas äs bitzeli meii sii?" - that was the wish of many Switchblade customers. Pivot listened to its customers and has increased the stroke and optimized details in the new edition of the popular bike. Ride had the opportunity to test the bike for two days as part of a press camp in Gran Canaria.

Pivot Cycles presents the new Mach 4 SL - at 1845 grams, its lightest cross-country frame to date with 100 millimetres of suspension travel. Optimized down to the last detail, the bike is designed to excel on technically demanding race tracks in particular. Another cornerstone: The XS size fits riders just under 150 centimeters tall. The Mach 4 SL is available in three color variants and is available now.

Pivot is launching a new edition of the "Les Fat", which is supposed to be the most versatile fat bike of all time. Pivot's marketing department was probably not sure if anyone cared. So for the promotional video, they dug into the good old drawer of bad taste and set world-class rider Eddie Masters to get up to some serious mischief with the fat bike.

With the Firebird 29, Pivot is following the trend towards large wheels in the enduro sector. With its 162 millimetres of suspension travel and 29-inch wheels, the bike is made for the rough stuff, but it should also not shy away from tough climbs or bike park excursions and be anything but sluggish. And another thing: who's heard of Super Boost?

Pivot Firebird, Switchblade or Mach 5.5 - die-hard mountain bikers click their tongues at these names. But the US brand, on which Emilie Siegenthaler is enjoying success in the DH World Cup, can also do things differently: the E-Fully Shuttle is celebrating its premiere at Eurobike. Ride chased the bike, which will only be available in Europe, around the test track.

With the Firebird, Pivot has one of the most exciting enduro bikes on the market - in terms of looks and function. Now it's the trail bike's turn to follow suit with a complete update and new frame. The Mach 5.5 Carbon trail bike is lightweight and offers plenty of potential with 160 millimetres at the front and 140 millimetres at the rear.
