Pivot bikes are known for the DW link at the rear designed by Dave Weagle. The Firebird is their enduro machine and a 29-inch bike trimmed for downhill. The short rear triangle has an installation width of 157 millimeters and should therefore be very stiff. There is also a front with a fork offset of 43 millimetres. We tested whether the "modern" figures prove themselves.

Based on the aluminum version, Pivot is launching a "Mach 429 Carbon". Like its brother, the new carbon bike also stands for durability and perfect 29er performance.
