Pivot presents the new Firebird: an enduro bike with 170 millimetres of suspension travel that should not shy away from excursions to the bike park, steep and rough descents or technical climbs. The fact that it has its strengths on the downhill in particular is revealed by the reference to the "Phoenix" downhill bike. In addition to the tried-and-tested DW-Link, the carbon frame is equipped with numerous practical features.

Pivot bikes are known for the DW link at the rear designed by Dave Weagle. The Firebird is their enduro machine and a 29-inch bike trimmed for downhill. The short rear triangle has an installation width of 157 millimeters and should therefore be very stiff. There is also a front with a fork offset of 43 millimetres. We tested whether the "modern" figures prove themselves.
