Lightweight, agile, and with plenty of power in reserve: Rotwild has designed the R.XX—completely redeveloped for 2027—for challenging trails and active riders. The technical foundation is provided by a 700-watt-hour battery, an Avinox drive system, and a rear suspension that adapts as the rider grows. Now, the Ultimate version takes it up a notch with premium components.

Rotwild is expanding its lineup with the R.XX: While the R.EX and R.EXC enduro models are designed for maximum downhill performance and adaptability, the R.XX is aimed at trail and all-mountain riders who want to ride an active, agile, and—above all—lightweight e-mountain bike.

Be the fastest on your home trail or on the podium at the next e-enduro race? That’s the challenge Rotwild is issuing for the R.EXC, which is hitting the starting line with the new Avinox motor. Weighing in at 23.2 kg, the Ultra version also looks impressive on the scale.

E-mountain bikers and Rotwild fans now have a new address on Lake Garda: the first official Rotwild store with integrated test center in Torbole. In the middle of one of the most legendary mountain bike hotspots in Europe, a contact point has been created for all those who want to test, experience and individually tune high-end bikes.

The R.EX from Rotwild not only has the Avinox motor on board, but also an in-house developed battery with a capacity of 864 Wh. This power source is housed in a carbon casing and, at 3580 grams, also proves its worth on the scales. The rear triangle is particularly eye-catching, offering high rigidity, plenty of tire clearance and precise kinematics.

ADP Engineering GmbH, known for its pioneering developments in the bicycle industry and as the home of the premium brand Rotwild, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in 1994, the company has established itself as a synonym for German engineering, innovation and passion for cycling. The idea of two students has become an integral part of the bicycle industry. Today, ADP Engineering employs over 50 people.

With the R.EX, Rotwild presents its new high-performance e-mountain bike for all-mountain use. Derived from the technology of the World Cup race bike R.EXC, the new bike relies on the same innovations that the "Rotwild Schwalbe Gravity Team" uses in the E-Enduro World Cup to race over the most demanding routes. The R.EX comes with 150 millimetres of rear suspension travel, a new rear triangle concept and is powered by a Shimano EP801 drivetrain and an 820 watt-hour battery. Nevertheless, it is said to be well under the 23-kilogram mark.

With the R.X1000 and R.C1000, Rotwild is sending two new power packs onto the trails. The energy cells in the two new models offer an effective 960 watt hours. The bike manufacturer from Dieburg has thus added two powerful concepts to the all-mountain and cross-over bike categories. These combine an innovative motor-gearbox unit from Pinion with efficient chassis designs and geometries.

The Rotwild R.E735 expands the newly established "735 family" with the matching Enduro version: potent equipment for demanding downhill passages, with simultaneous comfort and performance for any transfer and uphill. The R.E735 draws energy from its central core, the IPU735. It consists of the battery developed by Rotwild itself and the Shimano EP801 motor.

Neither an organic bike nor an eMTB: with the R.X275, the Hessian bike manufacturer ROTWILD is establishing a new category of transportation on two wheels. It is not for nothing that the company confidently calls it a "trail bike with eAssist". The focus is on the rider's sporting ambition, individual energy resources and the plan to use them on the trail. The R.X275 provides subtle support without imposing itself or demanding control. The rider unleashes their power via the Boost button, an innovative new development from the company.

The Hessian e-MTB manufacturer Rotwild is comprehensively sharpening its brand image. As an essential element with an external impact, the company has given its logo a makeover. It is now more straightforward and clearly represents what Rotwild stands for: the highest level of engineering and technical bike innovation - without any frills.

It's no secret that Claudio Caluori loves riding his e-mountain bike. In the future, he may like this piece of sports equipment even more, as the 44-year-old is now a brand ambassador for Rotwild.

ROTWILD's R.G375 is a potent e-gravity bike that rounds off the range of applications at the top end. Built for the bike park, freeride and downhill, it has a chassis with a whopping 180 millimetres of travel, rolls on 29-inch wheels and is powered by Shimano's compact EP8 motor.

When a car manufacturer unleashes a bike on customers, it is not uncommon for the two-wheeler to be more of an accessory than a serious piece of mobility or sports equipment. However, there is nothing to complain about when it comes to the brand new e-mountain bike that is rolling onto the market under the Porsche banner. A take-back system is in operation at Rotwild, where specialist dealers can return the packaging of the bikes supplied and receive a credit note. An adapted system is used for Rotwild bikes delivered to Switzerland, also with the aim of reducing packaging waste. The Swiss Rotwild distributor, the Felix agency, practices active environmental protection in other areas.

With the new R.X750, Rotwild presents the next level of its development in the e-mountain bike segment. Modern geometry, a newly developed chassis, the wheel mix with 29-inch front and 27.5 rear wheels, a powerful motor and a long-lasting 750Wh battery are coordinates that few other bikes can match.

Dedicated mountain bikers may be annoyed by too much news on electric topics - but many brands are going full throttle in this area. That's why Ride provides a summary of what's happening on the e-market: At Rotwild, the battery can now be removed. At Continental, a mid-motor is rolling into the 2018 model year. And Shimano is fine-tuning its hardware and software.
