Rotwild R.EX Ultra E-Mountainbike

With the R.EX, Rotwild presents its new high-performance e-mountain bike for all-mountain use. Derived from the technology of the World Cup race bike R.EXC, the new bike relies on the same innovations that the "Rotwild Schwalbe Gravity Team" uses in the E-Enduro World Cup to race over the most demanding routes. The R.EX comes with 150 millimetres of rear suspension travel, a new rear triangle concept and is powered by a Shimano EP801 drivetrain and an 820 watt-hour battery. Nevertheless, it is said to be well under the 23-kilogram mark.

Versatility is the main feature of the R.EX. It is adapted to the widest possible range of use and, with its new chassis, meets the increasing enthusiasm for demanding uphill passages just as much as it is intended to offer a new dimension of riding fun on fast trails downhill.

The frame is made of high-modulus carbon fibres with an optimized fibre lay-up and is handmade.
The Shimano EP801 motor delivers up to 85 newton metres of torque and is fully customizable via app.
The energy comes from the 820 watt-hour battery with new Gen2 cell technology, a carbon battery housing and a quick-release mechanism that allows the battery to be changed quickly.
Elevated box design with mid-high pivot rear triangle. The particular strengths of the design are a better, symmetrical stiffness performance, a higher load capacity of the frame and rear triangle in all riding situations, the prevention of chain slap and chain jamming as well as a larger tire clearance, which guarantees better performance in mud and muddy conditions.
The bike comes with mixed wheel sizes, 29 inches at the front and 27.5 inches at the rear.
The rear suspension offers 150 millimetres of travel, with 160 millimetres of travel at the front.
