While the bicycle is perhaps one of the most environmentally friendly means of transportation, its packaging leaves a lot to be desired in terms of sustainability - the products leave the production sites in boxes filled to the top with unnecessary single-use plastic, foam, cable ties and more. At the European assembly site in the Netherlands, Cannondale now only packs the bikes with recyclable materials.
