In order to avoid a trademark dispute, Nicolai has decided to rename the Saturn model range. The Nicolai models "Saturn 16 MGU", "Saturn 14 Swift", "Saturn 16", "Saturn 14" and "Saturn 11" are now called: S16 MGU, S14 Swift, S16, S14 and S11. The change also includes all other model variants, as well as frame kits and model-specific spare parts. There are no technical or price changes.

The agreement between the UCI and Ritchey for the use of the World Champion stripes expired at the end of 2024 and can no longer be extended. Ritchey would like to honor the decades-long partnership and thanks the UCI for the use of the famous symbol.
