Canyon: Now also custom-made, instead of just off the shelf

The mail-order king offers differently equipped variants in the respective model series - but there are no à la carte options. This is now changing, albeit slowly: starting with a single racing bike, Canyon is opening up the possibility for customers to customize their bike.

The Aeroad CFR road bike marks the starting point for à la carte production at Canyon. The direct-to-consumer specialist is launching three artwork collections including customizable components. A web interface is available for this purpose, which rides through the selectable options step by step. In addition to the so-called artwork collections, the cockpit, wheels, derailleur group and saddle can also be customized.

The custom-made programme, called MyCanyon, starts immediately for US customers, with the market launch for customers in the Asia-Pacific region beginning in April. Europe is set to follow by the end of summer 2025.

In a first step, Canyon is focusing the custom program on the Aeroad CFR road bike. Other - as yet unnamed - models are to follow.
