After more than seven years, City Cycles is closing its Zurich branch at Militärsträsse 106. The doors will close at the end of August and the City Cycle team led by Oliver Busato will concentrate on its business activities with the three branches in Bern.

The company writes somewhat cryptically about the reasons for the branch closure: "There are several reasons that led us to leave the city on the Limmat. So it is a sum of circumstances that led to this decision." As soon as a City Cycles representative can provide information about these circumstances, an update will follow on ride.ch

In March 2014, City Cycles had "the bike wedding of the year": Simpel's bikes, which had previously been marketed directly, became City Cycles' own brand and the carefree bike provider Simpel relocated from Maschwanden to the City Cycles premises in Zurich.
