Evoc makes the bum bag bike- and therefore socially acceptable

Hip packs, fanny packs or popularly known as kidney bags have long been considered a sign of bad taste. They have been rediscovered and Evoc is now launching a technical version. The "Hip Pack Race" can be used for everything from enduro races to leisurely after-work rides - made to store only the essentials, but to keep them non-slip on the lower back.

A highlight of the sporty space saver from Evoc's "Technical Performance Line" is the "Venti Flap". To give the "Hip Pack Race" even more freedom and less body contact when climbing, it can be folded away from the body. On the descent, a short pull on the strap ensures a firm hold on the lower back - without dangling or slipping.

The upper back is completely free of load and thanks to Evoc's "Contact Flow System", the ergonomically shaped contact surface on the lower back is reduced to a minimum. Channels ensure that air can circulate. Wide hip fins, also processed with mesh, give the "Hip Pack Race" support. The hip pack is only connected to the hip belt via a strap - this also reduces the contact surface of the "Hip Pack Race" with the body.

The technical "bum bag" has a well thought-out pocket management system with tool pocket, outer pockets and two inner pockets. Tools, keys, cell phone and food can be stowed away perfectly and are immediately to hand. The Hip Pack has space for a hydration bladder of up to three liters for drinking during the ride. The drinking tube can be attached to the hip belt thanks to a magnetic system. For the classic drinking option, the magnetic chip can also be attached to the jacket or jersey. No matter where, the hose can snap into place automatically - without any fiddling during the ride.
