GT Pantera: An old acquaintance is back

Pantera? That's the metal band - and for old mountain bike fans, a thoroughly iconic hardtail from GT. It has spent a long time in obscurity and is now experiencing a resurrection. In line with the latest trends, 27.5 Plus wheels are of course on board - and much more besides.

The 27.5-inch size is a matter of course for a hardtail these days, and for a modern hardtail, plus-size tires are of course a must: these are precisely the ingredients that GT is using to revive the Pantera hardtail.

The top model Pantera Expert comes with a 1x11 XT/SLX drivetrain, the disc stoppers are also from Shimano. The 120mm Rock Shox Revelation fork also features the Boost dimension. To ensure that nothing goes wrong when riding off-road, an E13 chain guide ensures that the drive runs smoothly.

The frame with the iconic triple triangle design is made from classic 6061 T6 aluminum. The 2.8" tires are Schwalbe Rocket Ron - and these can really show off their strengths in terms of traction and riding safety with rims with an inner width of 40mm.
