The sunny and warm autumn weather forms the perfect basis for the final spurt in the 2023 mountain bike season. With mountain railway support, attractive tours are possible in most areas until Sunday, October 22, 2023. In some regions, this will be followed by an extension with the mountain railroads operating in some cases depending on the weather. Aletsch Arena, Upper Valais

For the impressive view of the Aletsch Glacier, you can count on the support of the Moosfluh and Bettmerhorn gondola lifts until Sunday, October 22. After that, the feeder lifts run from the valley floor to Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp and Riederalp. These serve as a shuttle for attractive tours on the sunny slopes between Brig and Fiesch almost all year round.

In neighboring Bellwald, the lower section of the chairlift and the bike park are in operation until Sunday, 22 October. The mountain railroad from Blatten to Belalp rides in summer operation until 29 October, after which it is reduced or can be booked in advance.

Bike Kingdom Arosa Lenzerheide

All transport facilities in summer operation ride daily in Arosa, Chur and Lenzerheide until Sunday, October 22. The mountain railroads in the Alpenbikepark Chur will also be riding on the last weekend in October, while the Rothorn 1 gondola lift in Lenzerheide will continue to operate at weekends until the first snowfall.

Destination Davos Klosters

In the destination Davos Klosters, the summer season lasts until October 22, with the Parsenn cable car already ceasing operations after October 8, followed by the Gotschna cable car in Klosters a week later.

Upper Engadine and Poschiavo

The mountain railroads in the Corviglia and Piz Nair area will be riding from St. Moritz until October 22. The Signal feeder lifts from St. Moritz Bad and the gondola lift from Celerina to Marguns will continue to ride until October 15. On the opposite side of the valley, the Corvatsch cable car will be in operation until Friday, October 20. Please note the limited transport times for mountain bikes.

If the temperatures in the high valley of the Upper Engadine are too low or the first snow has already fallen, the Poschiavo Valley, south of the Bernina Pass, is a good option. Numerous trails between Alp Grüm, the main town of Poschiavo and the Italian town of Tirano are very well maintained by locals and as part of the "Vivabike" program. The Bernina Railway rides hourly from Tirano to the Bernina Pass and on to Pontresina.

Leukerbad

The Torrent cable car from Leukerbad to the Rinderhütte, the starting point for the famous Torrent Trail, is open daily until Sunday, October 29. At the end point of the Torrent Trail in Gampel, the gondola lift to Jeizinen is a tip for late fall. The sunny slopes can be ridden almost all year round and are often dust-dry even in winter.
