The Swiss Cross is probably the most iconic frame associated with Ritchey. Its name comes from former factory rider, cyclocross and mountain bike legend Thomas Frischknecht. The first iteration of the Swiss Cross in 1994 was an uncompromising racing machine designed for one thing: racing through the dirt like no other. Under Frischi, the Swiss Cross won numerous victories and became one of the most revered frames in the Ritchey lineup - a winning combination of Tom's mastery of frame building and Frischi's dominance in racing. Now there is a jubilee edition of the Swiss Cross.
