Wheeler wins a d&i Gold Award at the Taipei Cycle Show with its newly developed i-Chaser LTD e-mountain bike. The designers and engineers from the Wheeler Design Lab in Sursee and Cologne invested around 18 months in the development of the i-Chaser LTD e-bike.

This bolide promises state-of-the-art features and top-quality workmanship. Not only does the powerful Yahama motor with 80 Nm and the battery with a range of 600 Wh score points. But also the newly developed 2.8-inch color display, the ingenious cable routing, high-quality bearings and the sensitive Horst Link System.

29-inch wheels are the measure of all things, while 2.35-inch tires (front: Magic Mary, rear: Hans Dampf) are the order of the day. The Fox 36 Float provides 160 millimeters of suspension travel, while the Fox Float DPX2 shock provides 150 millimeters at the rear. Numerous Spank parts are fitted, giving the Wheeler a touch of the unusual, as Spank is not often specified as OEM parts. The pedals, stem and handlebars as well as the wheelset are all from Spank. The gears are Shimano XT 11-speed, while the four-piston version of the XT brakes provide enduring braking power.
