At the end of April, the Uster-based distributor and bicycle manufacturer GPR AG ended its distribution of Manitou suspension components, having already informed Manitou of this decision at the beginning of this year. The new Swiss partner for Manitou is the Norco distributor Indian Summer. The bicycle and accessories specialist based in Au, Zurich, already deals in Answer and Sun Ringlé products - both brands that come from the Hayes Bicycle Group, the group of companies to which Manitou also belongs.

Experienced service specialist for Manitou
At the moment, service and warranty matters for Manitou products are still being handled by Christian Bartnik, Technical Service Manager Europe at Hayes Performance GbmH in Garning, Germany. In the course of July or August, Bartnik will hold training courses in Switzerland to provide the new partner with product-specific knowledge. From this point on, Stefan Gohl will take over all warranty and service work for Manitou in Switzerland. Gohl is already an experienced service partner for Merida products for the Swiss Merida distributor Belimport and will continue to carry out the work in Bülach.

According to Fritz Pfister from Indian Summer, the Manitou products should be available at the same time as the service offer, i.e. around July or August.
