Migros bike stores: the expansion continues

The Migros management has chosen the Aquabasilea building complex in Pratteln for its fourth branch. Aquabasilea is a spacious 13,000 square meter bathing, sauna and wellness facility. There is also a Courtyard Marriott hotel attached, Golfers Paradise, a golfing provider, and MBT health shoes are also available to buy.

The store is located around 10 kilometers outside Basel city center, close to the A3 freeway and is therefore easy to reach by car. The location is not uninteresting for mountain bikers, as the new Bike World store is located at the foot of Basel's local mountain, Gempen.

The new store will have a sales area of over 1000 square meters. Mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes will make up the lion's share, but there will also be space for city and trekking bikes with and without motors as well as racing and children's bikes in the large sales areas. There will also be space for bike clothing and accessories, a workshop and a ski and snowboard rental area. Customers can also expect an indoor test track when the Bike World branch in Pratteln opens in March 2018.
