milKit launches the booster in the HR department

With a recently launched booster and an innovative tubeless valve system, milKit has already achieved a lot in its two years of existence. To support this forward movement in terms of personnel, two familiar faces are now coming on board at milKit.

On the market for just two years, the milKit brand from Zurich - the company behind it is called Sport Components AG - has already been able to build up a well-functioning distributor network abroad following an initial, direct focus on the end customer. Just recently, Merida & Centurion Germany GmbH was added as a strong distribution partner for the German market.

In addition to the innovative and easy-to-use tubeless solution - consisting of a syringe, special valves and filling device - the Swiss company recently caused a stir with the "Booster". A problem solver that makes it possible to install tubeless tires in seconds without a compressor. This booster will be sold via specialist dealers from March.Sport Components AG has also strengthened its team in order to drive further growth. With Hubert, known to most as Hübi Gmür, and Theo Sandu, the company has hired two experienced industry experts who can both look back on many years of experience and various positions in the bicycle industry.

After holding positions at Trek, Lifeforce and Swissforce, Gmür will take over responsibility as Sales Manager for the development and expansion of the global sales network via distributors and specialist retailers.

Theo Sandu, best known in his role as Head of the Bike Division at Stöckli, will be responsible for strategic partnerships in the OEM sector as Sales and Business Development Manager. Sandu will also be responsible for the network of sponsored milKit athletes, known as ambassadors.
