Fly fishing, a snow tour with a splitboard or a detour along single trails on the way to work: with the Turbo Tero X, Specialized presents what is perhaps the most versatile mountain bike in its portfolio. We are talking about a so-called SUV e-mountain bike that is designed to work for sport as well as everyday use.

The inventors of the first series-produced mountain bike are a little late to the party: the Turbo Tero X is the first SUV e-mountain bike from Specialized. As with the automotive SUVs, the vehicle should cut a fine figure in everyday life and be the perfect partner for leisure and sport.

In order to achieve this balancing act, the Specialized makers have added 120 millimetres of travel to the rear, the suspension fork offers 130 millimetres of travel and, of course, a lighting system, mudguards and side support are also on board. With 2.35 inch wide Ground Control tires, off-road use is also catered for, but the rolling performance on asphalt should still be good.

The mullet bike - with 29er front and 27.5er rear wheels - is available in three equipment variants. The aluminum frame and the so-called Full Power mid-motor, which delivers up to 90 Nm of torque, are always present.
