On June 13, 2014, the initiators and main sponsors gathered on the meadow opposite the football pitch in Walenstadt for the ground-breaking ceremony. Approximately one year later - on Sunday, June 7, 2015 - the official opening will be celebrated.

However, people have been riding on the pump track for some time now. As soon as the first hills were built, many curious children regularly dropped by and wanted to do their laps. This is why the bike park was opened to the public in October 2014.

The program starts after noon. The official opening will take place at 12.30 pm. From 13.00 René Wildhaber, who has been actively involved in the construction, will do a few laps before the kids from the Bicycle Club Walenstadt take part in the sponsored run. The Flumserberg Sprint will also take place. Regional summer and winter sports enthusiasts will try to complete as many laps as possible in teams of two. The cozy festival restaurant rounds off the event.
