The US suspension manufacturer Fox is not stingy with innovations. After the new 36, 38 and 40 models, the X2 now also comes with new suspension for the rear triangle. This features improved tunability of the high-speed rebound, matching 8-click HSC and HSR settings on Grip2 forks and X2 shocks, lower friction seals and much more.

The "Transfer" variable seatpost has been given a complete overhaul: Fox has not only reduced the weight, but also the installation depth, among other things. Depending on the stroke, which is available in lengths of 100, 125, 150 and 175 millimetres, this is 30 to 50 millimetres. There is also a new thumb lever with improved ergonomics and compatibility with I-spec EV so that it can be mounted directly on Shimano's brake lever clamp.

Rock Shox did some serious work on the internals. The result: improved DebonAir air suspension and new Charger 2.1 damping. In the Pike Ultimate trail fork, it should provide unrivaled control and precision - a real trail machine. To achieve this, very low-friction SKF seals and Maxima-Plush damping oil are now also used, which, in addition to the response behavior, also reduces noise and improves durability.

YT presents the Izzo, a brand new trail bike "for the tough tour". With 130 millimetres of suspension travel on 29-inch wheels, the sleek model doesn't offer too much suspension travel for tough climbs, but not too little to let it rip on the descents. Its weight of twelve kilograms is also nice and light.
