Ride on Lake Como launches the 2022 season this weekend

The conditions for biking in the Southern Alps are currently first-class - hardly any snow at higher altitudes and dry as dust. So it's perfect that Ride is kicking off the trail season this weekend. The first Ride Camp is taking place in Lecco, and there are still two places available.

The weather forecast for Lecco this weekend speaks for itself: 20 degrees air temperature and sunny. It couldn't be better. And it's no coincidence that Ride is launching the season in Lecco at the lower end of Lake Como. There are plenty of great trails here with direct access to the lake, an old town with plenty of Italianità and an exceptional base in the Villa del Cigno.

There are still two places available for the camp (as of Monday, March 21). The meeting point is on Friday, then three single trail days are on the program, with Ride editor Thomas Giger as guide.
