For the past three years, national championships have been held in the young mountain bike discipline of pump track. The fourth edition of the title fights will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, on the occasion of the World Championship qualifier event in Monthey. This is the main rehearsal for the home World Championships, as the pump track medals will be awarded at the first combined Mountain Bike World Championships in 2025 in Valais on the Monthey course.

The pump track championships will also include competitions for the U11, U13, U15 and U17 categories. The Swiss Championships are organized by the local World Championship OC in collaboration with Velosolutions. The reigning world champion Christa von Niederhäusern from the canton of Bern will be the defending champion; the defending champion is Tristan Borel from Vaud.
