This is the future: the modular electric bus

The car is called "eBussy". It sounds cute, but it is currently one of the most innovative mobility projects. The electric bus with a range of up to 600 kilometers is based on a basic chassis, the rest is modular and can be replaced independently. The car is therefore a camper, pickup, delivery van or convertible at the same time. The transformation takes place in just a few simple steps.

A camper van with an electric drive would not be an extraordinary innovation in itself. The interesting thing about the eBussy is its modular design. A chassis in the city or off-road version serves as the basis. This includes the chassis and the driver's cabin. The rest of the car is assembled according to the "Lego principle". You don't necessarily need the support of specialist staff, but can replace the modules yourself. What is a delivery van during the week becomes a weekend camper on Friday evening, a convertible after work or a shuttle pickup on a bike vacation. Ten modular and interchangeable superstructures are available.

The eBussy generates a range of up to 200 kilometers per day thanks to its integrated solar modules and recuperative drives. With its permanent and electronically controlled all-wheel drive in combination with its all-steering system, digital exterior mirrors, an app-controlled communication system and a whopping 1000 Newton meters of torque, the eBussy is also impressive from a technical perspective.

The maximum range of the eBussy is over 600 kilometers without charging, with a full battery and solar modules. With more than ten modular and interchangeable superstructures, it can be converted into a convertible, off-roader, box body, estate car, pickup or panel van and camping bus in just a few simple steps.

eBussy in the camping version

Standard/off-road chassis with camping module I + II. Lying area approx. 210 centimeters long and 130 centimeters wide. Refrigerator, TV, hob, fresh water tank and sink. 10 kWh battery capacity with approx. 200 kilometers range (optionally up to 30 kWh and 600 kilometers range), all-wheel drive and solar roof in 3 modules, sound system, recuperation. The expected starting price is quoted at 28,800 euros.

The eBussy is currently still in the development phase, but pre-orders with a discount of 1000 euros on the total price are already being accepted.
