In September 2025, Switzerland will become the center of the international mountain bike world: the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Crans-Montana will bring the best riders in the world to the Swiss Alps. For Thömus maxon, the Swiss team with local athletes and partners, this event is far more than just a sporting highlight - it is an emotional return to its roots.

With the new video series "Race back Home", Thömus maxon provides exclusive insights behind the scenes and takes the mountain bike community on a special journey. In six episodes, the series accompanies the athletes on their way to the home World Championships - a story about dedication, heritage and passion. Viewers experience first-hand how the team prepares: with personal challenges, strong team bonds and an emotional countdown to the starting signal. Each episode tells its own chapter of this story.

Episode 1: "Roots. Devotion. Heart"

The opening episode "Roots. Devotion. Heart" looks back at the beginnings of the team, when Ralph Näf pursued the vision of creating a home for Swiss mountain bikers. What started small in 2016 developed into a top international team. Together with Walter Reusser (CEO Swiss-Ski, formerly Stöckli), Thömu Binggeli, Ralph Näf, Bruno Diethelm, Alessandra Keller and Mathias Flückiger, the episode gets to the bottom of the roots of the team's success - and sheds light on the typically Swiss factors that characterize the team.
