Trail tip for the weekend: Monti di Motti near Locarno

The weekend is just around the corner, so it's time to plan your tour. The weather forecast once again recommends traveling south. Ticino has plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, especially on Sunday. Ride's tip: the Monte-di-Motti tour starting and finishing in Tenero.

In contrast to the north and Valais, Ticino has not received any snow and the trails are still in first-class condition. Nevertheless, mountain bikers are currently still concentrating on the somewhat lower, south-facing routes and the tour to Monte di Motti at the entrance to the Verzasca Valley is a good choice. The tour is ideal for those who like to challenge themselves technically. The ascent, however, is a pleasant ride up the asphalt road.

If you want to spend two days in Ticino, you can start with the Monti di Gana tour or warm up for Sunday on the Arcegno trails.

Weather for Tenero this weekend

On Saturday, it will still be a little cloudy in the morning, but increasingly sunny in the afternoon with a maximum of 11 degrees. Although only slightly warmer at just under 13 degrees, the forecast for Sunday promises pure sunshine.
