Turn the wrench - at the right moment

High-quality components have a torque recommendation printed on the screw connections. But how is the screwdriver supposed to know how much 5 Newton meters is without an expensive torque wrench? Accessories specialist Topeak provides assistance.

With the Nano Torq Bar and the Nano Torq Box, accessory specialist Topeak offers two new torque wrenches for both hobby and professional screwdrivers. Both models are available in versions with a fixed torque setting of 4Nm, 5Nm or 6Nm. The big advantage of these wrenches is the ratchet integrated in the torque attachment. This allows the tool to slip completely when the torque is reached, making it impossible to overtighten the screw.

The Nano Torq Bar is available in three versions with preset torques (4 Nm, 5 Nm, 6 Nm), each with the 5 most important bits (3 mm/4 mm/5 mm/T20/T25). The two most important bits can also be stored in the handle of the TorqBar for the quickest possible access and convenient transportation.

With the Nano Torq Box, Topeak wants to offer the perfect solution for on the go: This compact torque sleeve (4 Nm, 5 Nm or 6Nm) turns any mini-tool with a 5 millimeter Allen key into a torque wrench. The included transport case offers space for a sleeve and the 5 most important bits (3 mm/4 mm/5 mm/T20/T25). With this set, the correct tightening torque for bolts on add-on parts is always guaranteed and expensive carbon parts are protected from damage.
