Jetzt gehts los – die Trails in Graubünden sind bereit für den Sommerbetrieb der Bergbahnen
The snowmelt has taken its time this year to get going all the more from mid-June. Herbert's trail check on June 22, 2021 in Lenzerheide, Oberengadin and Davos shows that the trails in Graubünden are in excellent condition at the start of the mountain railroad season. Only at high altitudes is there still snow, which is why the Bahnentours in Davos Klosters, Arosa Lenzerheide, Chur and the Upper Engadine, for example, are not yet fully rideable.
Lenzerheide
In the Bike Kingdom in Lenzerheide, Chur and Arosa, the cable cars to Piz Scalottas, Heidbüel, the lower sections on the Parpaner Rothorn and Arosa Weisshorn as well as the Brambrüesch cable car in Chur will be riding from Saturday, June 26, 2021. Bikes are not yet being transported on the upper sections, the Hörnli Express and the Urdenbahn due to the snow. The Bahnentour is therefore not yet open throughout. Information on operating times and open trails can be found in the Bike Kingdom app and on the website.
bikekingdom.chUpper Engadine
On the sunny slopes above St. Moritz, the Olympia, World Cup and Foppettas flow trails from Corviglia downwards are already free of snow, thanks in part to energetic shoveling. The mountain railroads in the Upper Engadine will start summer operations on Saturday, June 26, 2021, transporting bikers up to Piz Nair. However, numerous snowfields are still to be expected at higher altitudes, which is why the lower trails are recommended. Information on the operating times of the mountain railroads and the flow trails can be found on the destination and Mountains website.

Davos
The mountain railroads in Davos will be riding at full capacity from June 26, 2021, although the legendary trails of the Bahnentour starting on the Weissfluhjoch are not yet free of snow. It's worth taking the Parsennbahn cable car to the Höhenweg station, from where you can reach the trail through Meierhoftäli. The panoramic trail between Strelapass and Gotschnagrat is still covered with numerous snowfields, as are the trails in the upper area of the Jakobshorn and the tour to Pischa. The overview with the current trail report can be found on the destination page and on the Trailforks website.

With the Runca and Nagens trails, two highlights in Laax have already been rideable in top condition for a few days. The shuttle bus rides to Alp Nagens and from Saturday, June 26, 2021, all mountain railroads will also start operating in summer, making the legendary Never End Trail easily accessible. The tour to Alp Mora ob Trin is also already snow-free. You can find all the information and book tickets for the mountain railroads directly on your smartphone in the Inside Laax app.

Scuol
In the Lower Engadine, the "Trailuniun" ensures that the single trails are well groomed, with the paths up to above Motta Naluns above Scuol already in excellent condition. The mountain railroads from Scuol and Ftan have been riding since the beginning of June, and an overview of the condition of the trails can be found on the Trailforks website.
Val Müstair
The PostBus line from the Münstertal valley to the Umbrail Pass, the highest stop in Switzerland, will start operating in summer on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Two early morning services will ride to the Umbrail Pass and Stelvio Pass, and reservations are recommended for bike transport. Snow fields are still to be expected on the legendary Postauto-Tour from the Bocchetta di Forcola above the Umbrail Pass.
